Hmm. In doing some research this evening, I found a use for Google News that I didn’t know about previously. A Google News Search can be pinpointed to a specific publication — which is incredibly useful if you’d like a quick overview of what a particular pub has written about a topic in recent history.

OK, this kinda freaks me out. I’m not sure how this is acceptable, but Mr. Bush’s campaign election site, georgewbush.com is running an ad featuring all of our favorite Democrats: Kerry, Gore, Dean, Moore, and Hitler. Yes ma’am. Hitler.
The New York Times outed this ad.

Yesterday, we engaged in the most exciting exercise to date at Poynter. Given the time restrictions of the program, many of the students end up writing profiles for their stories: we simply do not have enough day time to write more intensive pieces. Taking that into account, the program directors devised a most interesting course.
