The waters in the Antarctic are warming. Which means that the algae that krill eat are not as abundant. So krill are not as abundant — there is not enough to eat. So whales, penguins, and seals, who eat krill, could be affected. The amount of krill in the waters has declined by 80 percent since the 1970s, according to CNN.
