Kickass lunch, Figo Pasta, Lunch

I had a lunch today that photographed better than it tasted … my favorite kind.

Bruschetta, Figo, Atlanta
To start, some bruschetta done right … piled high with (surprisingly non-sucky) tomatoes … the top of your mouth sings with the moisture, while the tongue gets zapped with tangy, garlic rubbed bread …
Penne with Meat Sauce, Figo, Atlanta
My companion’s penne with meat sauce … light on tomato, heavy on meat, with a cinnamony undertone that was very bechamel …
Spinach pasta w. Salmon cream sauce, Figo, Atlanta
My favorite dish … the salmon in pink sauce (tomato+cream) with peas over spinach pasta … yummy, salty, with tiny surprise bits of salmon and smooth, smooth sauce …
