Max is beginning to find some friends
Happily, Max is beginning to find some friends. If you’d like to be Max’s friend too, send him an email. (C’mon, click it.) But actually, you should check out his story on Altweeklies.com — the compilation website for AAN. Max’s piece is featured on the homepage. I was teasing him earlier, but this is actually really fucking cool. Essentially, 30-some alts ran Dan Frosch’s piece on war vets and the PTSD treatment they receive when they came back home. It was a national story, and lots of alts wrote local sidebars featuring it. But good ol’ Maxie’s web exclusive is the one they picked for the homepage. To put this in perspective, Altweeklies.com featured 18 stories on the subject, and has picked up all of 5 Weekly Planet stories. Put a p.s. on that email, and say congrats.
