Oooh … how fun! I just did the whole cut off the hair and dye it blonde, because I was sick of people thinking of me as the brunette with the ponytail. I’ve only lived here a few months, so that is all they knew me as …

And yeah, I know about the comments. We were up to 120,000 comments — almost all spam, of course — and the bandwidth was killer. We disabled them temporarily — the redesigned laurafries.com (using Wordpress) has a filter-thingy that will allow me to monitor the comments better.

I’m anxious to launch it and to get the comments flowing again … but unfortunately we’re working on a redesign of the Loaf’s sites, and that takes precedence.

Once I get some free time, I really want to go through and make a flickr slideshow of all my various incarnations.

In the meantime, though, I’ll cut and paste emails in the backend. It ain’t pretty, but …
